On February 23, Yang Kai, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Bank of Jiangsu and Secretary of the Communist Party Committee and President of Wuxi Branch of Bank of Jiangsu, accompanied by Jin Jianming, Vice President of Wuxi Branch of Bank of Jiangsu, and Zhang Yi, General Manager of Business Department of Wuxi Branch, paid a visit to Far East for survey and exchange. Jiang Xipei, founder of Far East Holding Group, Chairman of Board of Directors and Secretary of the Party Committee, Chen Jianhong, Chief Financial Officer, Chen Xiaofen, investor and Senior Advisor, Li Jianfang, investor and Vice Director of Department of Finance and Treasury of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869) and Zhou Yin, Vice Director of Capital Management Department of the Group received the guests and also attended at the symposium.
Jiang Xipei indicated that, Far East, by adhering to the development strategy of “main business + investment”, achieved a good benefit in 2016, with the increasing proportion of contribution of foreign investment and fruitful transformation and upgrading. Orient to becoming a “global investment management and smart energy expert”, namely, a service provider of Smarter Energy and intelligent city system, Far East has been always concerned about the demands of global markets. In 2010, Far East developed the development model of “one network and two platforms”, laying a foundation for its strategic transformation; Far East Cable Co., Ltd. was renamed to Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. in 2014, which means that Far East has made an important headway in strategic transformation. On top of this, Smarter Energy officially signed contract with Detroit Electric Holdings Limited and China Yixing Industrial Park for Environmental Science & Technology, to form a joint venture named as “Detroit Electric Co., Ltd.” on February 18, 2017, deepening the layout of new energy vehicles industrial chain and broadening the strategic map of Smarter Energy.

Meanwhile, Jiang Xipei shared that three major risks (risks in legal affairs, great decision and employment) should be avoided in enterprise’s operation and management. He also expressed that there were a large number of enterprises with great values and potentials, which was the most vigorous factor for local development. He hoped that all parties paid the high attention to the collaboration of government, bank and enterprise, and prevented the risks caused by resource allocation.

Yang Kai highly appreciated the sound development mechanism of Far East, in particular, the significant success Far East obtained in adjusting of industrial structure, and also thought highly of Jiang Xipei and Far East’s social responsibility. He said that we should give top priority to the strategic transformation in the course of enterprise development, and financial entities should focus on two major directions, including pursuance of financial licenses and engagement in internet finance. Currently, the Bank of Jiangsu has taken the lead in the financial industry with mature on-line business and non-counter channel. The Bank of Jiangsu was committed to the innovation and reform of management and achieved the historical breakthroughs in the field of on-line management technology.
