From August 8 to 12, the 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC) was held in Beijing. Most exhibits at the conference have demonstrated practical potential for "real-world industrial application". For example, UBtech made an appearance with five humanoid robot models and unveiled its groundbreaking humanoid robot swarm intelligence technology for the first time, presenting a universal humanoid robot swarm operation solution for multi-task industrial scenarios.

As a leading enterprise in China’s high-end cable sector, Far East Smart Energy Co., Ltd., leveraging its profound accumulation in the power and energy field, positions itself as an "invisible enabler" in the core component segment of the robotics industry chain. It breaks through key technological bottlenecks with independently developed high-performance products, injecting strong momentum into the industry’s breakthroughs.

  I. Debut of the New-Generation Industrial Humanoid Robot: Featuring 52 Degrees of Freedom and Industrial-Grade Dexterous Hands

From August 8 to 12, the 2025 World Robot Conference took place in Beijing. This grand event, themed "Making Robots Smarter, Making Embodied Entities More Intelligent", brought together 1,500 cutting-edge exhibits from over 200 top domestic and international enterprises. Among them, the concentrated debut of more than 100 global new products and 50 humanoid robot integrated machine enterprises outlined a clear vision of robots deeply integrating into human life.

2024 was dubbed the "inaugural year of the humanoid robot industry", when most technologies remained in the proof-of-concept phase. However, at the 2025 World Robot Conference, most exhibits have shown practical potential for "real-world industrial application". Notably, UBtech showcased five humanoid robot models, including the new-generation industrial humanoid robot Walker S2. According to reports from authoritative media, Walker S2 stands 1.76 meters tall, with 52 degrees of freedom (DoF) and industrial-grade dexterous hands. In sorting and handling tasks, Walker S2 demonstrated several breakthrough technologies: by combining a full-body dynamic balance algorithm, two degrees of freedom in the waist, and a bionic arm design, it achieved complex movements such as wide-angle waist rotation for sorting and extreme squatting for handling.

The evolution of humanoid robots is shifting from rigid, single-task operations toward swarm intelligence and group brain networks, enabling highly versatile capabilities. This high level of intelligence and flexibility places even more stringent requirements on robots’ "nervous systems"—their cables.

In this process, Far East Holding Co., Ltd. (Far East) has achieved phased results in robot cables: its humanoid robot cables have been integrated into UBtech’s products, providing critical support for stable operation; products designed for DeepRobotics’ humanoid robots have also entered the sample testing phase. Meanwhile, the company is actively engaging with more high-quality clients in the industry, continuously expanding its market reach, and verifying its industry status as an "invisible enabler" through technological strength.

II. Cracking the Code for 10 Million Bends: Forging the "Flexible Nerves" of Robots

The robot cables independently developed by Far East cover key types such as wires and wire harnesses for robot fingers, joints, and main bodies, as well as cables for data collection and video signal transmission. Through material innovation and process upgrading, these cables achieve a torsion and bending lifespan of over 10 million cycles, with oil and corrosion resistance reaching industry-leading levels.

In the conductor and cabling processes, Far East adopts special techniques to ensure uniform force distribution across each wire core. For insulation and sheath materials, the company uses self-developed specialty materials, endowing the cables with exceptional flexibility. More notably, Far East owns a dedicated flexible cable laboratory, accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) and authorized by Germany’s TÜV Rheinland and the U.S.’ UL. Its test reports hold global credibility. Equipped with advanced mobile cable testing equipment, the laboratory can fully simulate real-world operating conditions and accurately calculate service life, safeguarding product reliability.

Currently, Far East has successfully developed a perse range of high-performance products, including robot power transmission cables, signal transmission cables, and flexible towline cables, injecting "robust vitality" into the flexible operation of robots.

III. The Future Is Here: Domestic Core Components Embrace a Historic Opportunity

The industry widely acknowledges that humanoid robots will become a transformative product following computers, smartphones, and new energy vehicles, with their impact permeating all aspects of production and daily life. As AI technology advances, the evolution of robot swarm intelligence and group brain networks will make robots more flexible and versatile, enabling them to adapt to complex tasks and drive a leap in production efficiency.

Against this backdrop, the performance and cost of core components will become the key to competition. Domestic suppliers with comprehensive advantages are seizing an unprecedented market opportunity. From 10 million tests in the laboratory to precise assembly on the production line, Far East adheres to and innovates with "Made in China, Intelligent in China", demonstrating how core components drive industrial upgrading. Looking ahead, as robots are deployed in more fields, Far East will continue to deepen its technological expertise and leverage its "invisible support" to help the robotics industry move toward a smarter future.
